MONSTER DRAW

Glenmore Ac hosted their Monster Draw & social evening on Friday 29 th May in the Granvue Hotel, Omeath. A “monster” thanks to all in the peninsula who generously supported this draw which raised €23,500 for the club thus paying off most of the debt on Bush Track. This was a huge feat which could only have been achieved through the generous support of athletes, members, parents & most especially the community.

A minute's silence was observed for the repose of the soul of Joseph Laverty, father of Anna McGinn, club secretary. Our condolences to Anna & the McGinn family at this difficult time.

Athletes received plaques

A number of athletes also received plaques for their outstanding performances on behalf of the club over the year. One of whom, Sinead McDonald, also put in yet another outstanding performance to come 4 th on Saturday the 30 th in the All-Ireland Schools 1500m in Tullamore.
